The PolyU AI English Oral Test for both kindergarten and primary school students. The test is divided into two groups (Kindergarten and Primary School), each further subdivided into three levels (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced). The content at each level is tailored to the students' age and fluency, focusing on *reading short passages* and *developing oral skills*.

Test Standards

Scoring Criteria:

• Pronunciation (30%): Accuracy in pronouncing words.

• Fluency (30%): Smooth, natural reading without hesitation.

• Expression (20%): Ability to convey emotions and meaning.

• Comprehension (20%): Understanding of the passage. 

Grade Breakdown:

• A (Excellent) | 90–100 | Outstanding performance in all areas. Clear pronunciation, natural fluency, expressive reading, and full comprehension.

• B (Good) | 75–89 | Strong performance with minor mistakes. Good pronunciation and fluency, but slight room for improvement in expression or comprehension.

• C (Satisfactory) | 60–74 | Acceptable performance. Basic pronunciation and fluency, but lacks confidence, expression, or consistent comprehension.

• D (Needs Improvement) | 50–59 | Below average performance. Struggles with pronunciation, fluency, or comprehension, with noticeable hesitation or lack of clarity.

• Fail | Below 50 | Unsatisfactory performance. Unable to read or comprehend the passage. Severe issues with pronunciation and fluency.
